LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR LIONS

THREE-DAYS OF TRAINING AT REGIONAL LIONS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE
AT TRAVELLERS LODGE, BAGAMOYO 20TH TO 22ND NOVEMBER 2015

Fifty Lions Members attended leadership training at Bagamoyo  under the auspices of  Multiple District 411 with six countries under its umbrella. The three-day hectic training was conducted by four highly qualified trainers spearheaded by Past Governor and Past Mutlple Councilo Chairman Lion Murtaza Dungarwala from Mombasa Kenya.

The Coordinator of the entire programme from its embryonic stages to the conclusion was meticulously administered by RLLI Trainer,  2nd Vice District Governor, Eng. Rizwan Qadri.

The main topics included the art of public speaking, motivating club members, time management, working in teams, Lions fundamentals, goal setting and diversity. Considering the large number of attendees (50), the classes were divided into two groups. The style of imparting knowledge was mostly person to person, and hence almost each and every person managed to involve himself/herself in practically all the lessons.

Two topics, the art of public speaking and working in teams appeared to have attracted many students. Most Lions, at one time or the other take up leadership position because leaders change every year. Hence they are groomed to speak in front of the public without any hesitation.

The opening ceremony of the three-day seminar was performed by District Governor Lion Haiderali Gangji and the closing ceremony by Multiple Council Chairperson PDG Lion Wilson Ndesanjo. The students stayed at Travellers Lodge and classes were conducted in two different halls at the same venue by the beach side.
